To the Seven Star Culinary Institute. Your career starts now with SSCI.
You will be introduced to some of the deep rich creations that this land has not been exposed to in cuisine and patisserie classes that have increased the demand for food innovative chefs with the ideal principles of all cooking styles and techniques.

SSCI has a wide range of course units, globally recognized for an ideal performing
chef and more work is being done to increase the learning experience in every
course intake.
In SSCI, you will put into practice what you learn since our programs are 80%
practical [hands-on] experiences in the kitchen studios. Integrated learning programs will allow you to gain real-world travels throughout many continents and cope with the demand of learning different cuisines. Activities include a Valentine’s fine dining experience, trips to hotel industries and food production factories, farms, and more, food cooking competitions within school and out of school, team building activities, and media exposure.
There are some skills you cannot learn in the kitchen studios, so SSCI provides
you with internship opportunities in and out of the country Uganda; with a partnership with some of the best hotels recognized by the standards of a trained professional chef to help students build interpersonal culinary skills, boost their confidence, and get involved in the daily activities like buffet setup, alar carte orders, fast food service and more.

We follow a holistic approach towards educating our students. We respect our students and consider their needs with bio-psycho-social considerations as a whole. We do not have a groups of students, or classes ,we have individuals with unique characteristics and needs. We welcome our students and try to know them individually. Our teaching and non-teaching staff together with the students from the community of 7 Star Culinary Institute. This is the motivation that has kept us on the movement for about 3 years now.

At 7 Star Culinary Institute, we place great emphasis on problem-based learning, interactive education and critical thinking. We not only teach cooking , but also creative thinking. We teach our students how to learn these subjects, how and where to find answers to their questions, how to solve their problems and feel confident enough to bring their new ideas to the attention of their teachers and classmates.

This is our 7 Star Culinary Institute methodology for education. We believe that our students can and should explore their potentials and capacities, they should achieve maximum development of their competencies with the help of educators. High academic achievements, successful higher education, and preparation for undertaking independent social roles are among our goals for 7 Star Culinary Institute students.

Recognition

Seven Star Culinary Institute is registered with Uganda Registration Services Bureau and
with Directorate of Industrial Training Seven Star Chefs.

The institute has also had the opportunity to travel to various countries to teach people the Ugandan culinary arts; and cook for presidents and other dignitaries.
